A fond farewell to Debbie Hicks

The Dean's Office will miss Debbie Hicks (center), who is retiring after 13 years at King Hall.

On May 14, we celebrated Debbie Hicks' retirement virtually. A group of more than 35 King Hall staff and faculty members joined for a celebratory toast on Zoom.

Debbie has worked for 13 years as the front-desk receptionist and the face of the law school. Always cheery and upbeat, Debbie brightened the days of everyone she came in contact with.  We all will miss her very much.

Debbie and her husband, Don, are relocating to Washington to be closer to grandchildren. She will be surrounded by fans of the Seattle Seahawks, her NFL favorite.
