Farewell to beloved Davis sports bar

Here is some news for generations of UC Davis School of Law Students as well as all UC Davis students.  A wonderful sports bar and hamburger joint, The Graduate, closed at the end of June. 

For decades, The Graduate was a place where students and others could watch sports events, including the San Francisco 49ers and Giants as well as the Golden State Warriors.  I once recall a law school band playing there a few years ago.

I made sure to stop by on June 30, the day that the music died at The Graduate.  Enjoying a Grad burger while watching the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Colorado Rockies made for a memorable day.
