An Empirical Analysis of Wealth Transfer Law - Law Review Symposium

The  UC Davis Law Review is proud to host several members of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) for a symposium titled " An Empirical Analysis of Wealth Transfer Law." ACTEC is a nationally renowned organization, and its members, or "fellows," strive to inform the public about the complicated world of trust and estate law. 

The symposium will include panel discussions covering topics such as marriage within wealth transfer law, how research is conducted using probate records, and the results and repercussions of non-probate transfers and intestacy within estate planning. To dive into the reasons why certain individuals utilize estate planning and others do not, and to evaluate other fascinating dichotomies within wealth transfer law, join us on Oct. 11, 2019 at the University of California, Davis School of Law (King Hall).
