Election 2020: Breaking it down and looking forward

UC Davis School of Law held a post-2020 election panel discussion for the entire community. Senior Associate Dean Afra Afsharipour moderated a discussion with Professors Ashutosh Bhagwat, Chris Elmendorf, and Aaron Tang. They offered insightful discussion on a variety of issues, including the legal challenges to the vote brought by President Trump in a number of states, problems with democracy American-style, legal issues surrounding the presidential transition (including a flurry of executive orders), and the future of the U.S. Supreme Court.

We all learned from three amazing King Hall faculty about the lasting impact of the 2020 presidential election. I am always impressed by my incredible colleagues.
