Eastern District of California Reception

 

UC Davis School of Law held its inaugural Eastern District of California reception on February 21 to honor the federal judges in Sacramento. Faculty members Clay Tanaka (pictured above, second from right), Rick Frank, and “Cappy” White joined me, students, and Judges William Shubb, Morrison England, Troy Nunley (also in the above photo, far right), Garland Burrell, Allison Claire, Edmund Brennan, Ronald Sargis, Christopher Jaime, and others to celebrate our local federal judges. It was a wonderful evening in the rotunda of the beautiful federal courthouse.

Natalie Butcher from our Career Services office, along with Professor Tanaka and Judge Nunley, helped make this event happen.  For years we have had student externs and law clerks work for the judges.  It was nice to be able to honor them with this reception.
