Duke Law civil rights conference

Last week, a number of UC Davis School of Law scholars were featured prominently in a virtual Duke Law School civil rights conference. The conference's presenters discussed papers that will be published in a symposium spanning many of the best law reviews in the United States. Professors Jasmine Harris, Irene Joe, and Aaron Tang were among the presenters. I had the pleasure of presenting a paper on removing the racially discriminatory foundations of the U.S. immigration laws.

I must admit that it was amazingly refreshing to think optimistically about future developments in civil rights law.
