Discussing restorative justice programs in Yolo County

The Schwartz/Levi Inn of Court held its monthly meeting, with the topic restorative justice. The panel for the discussion included Professor Mary Louise Frampton.  It was a lively discussion. Also on the panel was Yolo County Public Defender Tracie Olson, who recently provided informative remarks about racial disparities in the criminal justice system in Yolo County as part of the King Hall Racial Justice Speaker Series. 

I learned that Yolo County has a wealth of restorative justice programs for criminal offenders.  It was a good discussion about alternatives to imprisonment.
