Conference on Law and Sustainable Development Brings Together Jindal, King Hall Scholars

It has been a busy and energizing week at UC Davis School of Law. Friday, a group of scholars from Jindal Global School of Law in India joined us for a conference on Law and Sustainable Development. We had an amazing group of participants, including, from Jindal Global University, Chief Sustainability Office Amit Lahiri, Professor Jasmeet Gulati, Professor Avirup Bose, Dr. Arpita Gupta, Dr. Rajnish Wadehra and Professor Suvrajyoti Gupta.
King Hall was represented by Afra Afsharipour, senior associate dean for academic affairs; Professors Tom Joo, Mario Biagioli, Peter Lee, Shayak Sarkar, Karima Bennoune, Lisa Pruitt, Camille Pannu, Richard Frank, Albert Lin, Raquel Aldana and Elizabeth Joh.
Amelia Miazad of the UC Berkeley School of Law also was among the distinguished participants.
We had an intellectually challenging day discussing one of the most pressing public policy issues of our time. We are pleased that our lengthy partnership with Jindal has led to student and scholarly exchanges as well as conferences and other events like this one.
