Class of 2019 Order of the Barristers

Last week I sat in on one of the most impressive awards ceremonies of graduation season. Judge Dennis Cota ’86 (Trial Practice) and Michael Canzoneri (Appellate Advocacy) honored the new UC Davis School of Law members of the Order of the Barristers, a national honor society of trial practice and appellate advocacy students. This year’s Class of 2019 new members included:

Molly Miram
Christopher Moskal
Catherine Reagan
Tanvi Shah
Gymmel Trembly

Each student was presented with a framed certificate and was introduced to the group. Cota and Canzoneri personally worked with the advocates and spoke specifically about their achievements and contributions to the School of Law’s advocacy programs.

It was an uplifting event and makes me proud to have wonderful and skilled students.
