Civil Justice for All: Law School and the Civil Justice Gap

Today, I participated in a webinar on Civil Justice for All: Law School and the Civil Justice Gap sponsored by the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. The webinar focused on a new report entitled, Civil Justice For All .

The first panelist was former Dean of Harvard Law School and Professor of Law Martha Minow.

The report makes many recommendations that already are in place at UC Davis School of Law. I am proud of the law school’s public interest, pro bono, and social justice tradition. Our close relationship with Legal Services of Northern California, of which I am president of the board of directors, has facilitated the employment of many of our graduates in the public interest sector.
