Catching-up with Sammar Miqbel '07

I just had a visit from  Sammar Miqbel, an alum of the King Hall Outreach Program (KHOP) and a 2007 alum of UC Davis School of Law.  It was great catching up with Sammar, who as a King Hall student was very active and served on the Admissions Committee and as a KHOP mentor.  After doing civil rights work in Southern California, she now is doing civil rights and criminal defense work for the Law Offices of Johnny L. Griffin, III, a prominent Sacramento attorney ( Perhaps you've seen him on TV). 

A native of Lodi, Samaar was also able to visit with Professor Emeritus Cruz Reynoso and Assistant Dean of Admissions Kristin Mercado.

Sammar credits KHOP and King Hall for leading her to the practice of law.  We are proud to call her an alumna.
