Last week Associate Dean for International Programs Beth Greenwood sent me news that she attended a lovely Austrian dinner in Berlin with our distinguished LL.M. alum Dieter Korten. Dieter is a senior lawyer and managing partner in Cologne, Germany. He was one of the early attendees of the International Law Programs (1993) and subsequently went on to receive an LL.M. in International Commercial Law in the first class in 2001. He served on the International Law Programs Advisory Board for many years, inspired two international wine law conferences at the UC Davis School of Law, and has been a loyal alum and friend of the UC Davis School of Law for 27 years! Beth let me know that he will be in California this fall - we look forward to seeing him at King Hall.
