I had the privilege of hearing Professor and Co-director of the Immigration Law Clinic, Holly Cooper, talk about Lucas R. v. Becerra, an unprecedented immigrant rights case. The case contested the federal government’s unconstitutional treatment of children in immigration custody. The UC Davis Immigration Law Clinic and Professor Cooper helped litigate the case to reach a successful outcome. 

We had a full room of students. It was great to see them hear of the Immigration Law Clinic victory.
