Class of 2022 class photo at the Capitol 

Last week, the UC Davis School of Law held its 26th annual Capitol Reception in Sacramento, just steps from the California state Capitol building. The first year students had a presentation at the Capitol from alums Errol Daius '11 and Kara Ueda '00 and then a grand reception at the Golden 1 Arena, home of the Sacramento Kings.

More than 100 students, faculty, and alums were in attendance. I made some remarks and encouraged the students to network, collect business cards, and learn about UC Davis's ties with the seat of state government.
