3 units - Seminar. Cases and Places focuses on a four-day trip to world-class teaching locations throughout California. The course approaches the locations from two distinctly different perspectives: law and environmental science. Participants will learn hands-on water, environmental, and public lands law.
Accelerated Schedule/Meets on Saturdays: This course will have two Saturday meetings and four day trip.
First Saturday class: 8am-5pm August 31
Field trip: 7am September 26 - 7pm September 29
Last Saturday class: 8am-12pm October 19 (this day is flexible, could be a week later)
Graduation Requirements: Satisfies Advanced Writing Requirement.
Final Assessment: Paper
