On Friday night, the Black Law Students Association (BLSA) held its second annual dinner (this one virtual) honoring the graduating class. BLSA President Alexis Logan '22 offered gracious opening remarks. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Fellow Alexis Elston congratulated the graduating class.

The BLSA Class of 2021 has done amazing things, including creating the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. During this day, the King Hall community honors Dr. King with volunteer service for people in need.

Students, faculty, staff and alums were in attendance. Judge Stacy Boulware-Eurie '95 and Tina Leahy '98 were among the alums. Student Affairs Dean Emily Scivoletto, Admissions Dean Kristen Mercado, Professor Andrea Chandrasekher and Professor Irene Joe also were in attendance.

Each of the graduating BLSA 3Ls said a few words. It was a touching tribute to our wonderful students. Our BLSA students are extraordinary. I was honored to be part of the event.
