Posted By Kevin R. Johnson, Jul 21, 2017
Wednesday night, UC Davis School of Law hosted its annual Summer International Law Reception for Orientation in USA Law Program and International Commercial Law LL.M. participants at the UC Davis Alumni Buehler Center. Sixty program participants attended, hailing from 22 countries.
Senior Associate Dean and Professor Madhavi Sunder and Associate Dean of International Programs Beth Greenwood mingled with our international community members, as did Professor of Law Emeritus and former Associate Justice of the California Supreme Court Cruz Reynoso, Professor K.S. Park and Judy Janes, Mabie Law Library Director and Lecturer in Law. Barbara Juenger, a valued member of the King Hall community and widow of Professor Friedrich "Fritz" Juenger, who taught at the School of Law from 1976-2001, also attended.
The annual reception is an important King Hall tradition that promotes cross-cultural scholarship, friendship and lifelong connections among the School of Law’s international community, all while enjoying a summer evening on the beautiful UC Davis campus.
