Third Annual Small/Midsize Firm Fair for 2Ls & 3Ls!

On Thursday, October 27th from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, Career Services will host the Third Annual Small/Midsize Firm Fair at King Hall.  The event will kick-off at 6:00 pm with a meet-and-greet reception in the hallway outside Career Services where you will be able to speak with attorneys in a wide range of practice areas and drop off your resume with firms of interest.  You are invited and highly encouraged to take advantage of this great opportunity to meet potential employers right here at the law school.  Many of these firms have hired King Hall students for summer law clerk positions and/or as associates.

Currently, the firms listed will be represented at the fair.  We expect many more firms to confirm their attendance before the event and will provide an updated list of firms as we get closer to the event.

Please RSVP as soon as possible but no later than Friday, October 21st by logging on to Symplicity at and going to Events/Workshops/Small-Midsize Firm Fair, then click on the blue RSVP button.

Light refreshments will be served and business attire is recommended.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Alaska State Courts Judicial Clerkship Presentation - September 27

Are you interested in post-graduate judicial clerkships? Would you like to join numerous esteemed graduates of King Hall who have clerked for the Alaska Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, and Superior Courts?

If so, please join us for a presentation about clerking with Chief Justice Craig F. Stowers (King Hall '85) of the Alaska Supreme Court on September 27th from noon to 1 pm in Room 1301.  UC Davis law students have traditionally been very successful in obtaining judicial clerkships at the Alaska courts, and King Hall is one of the few law schools in the nation which the Alaska courts visit for on-campus interviews during fall of your third year.  Our alumni have clerked at all levels of the Alaska courts and have gone on to have great careers in California and throughout the country.  For students interested in working for the public defender or district attorney, several alumni have clerked for Alaska superior court criminal judges and received invaluable behind-the-bench experience in criminal law.  If you have any interest in clerkships, we strongly recommend that you attend this presentation.

Lunch will be provided.  Please RSVP to by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, September 21.
