Charity Kenyon '77

Happily retired baby boomer

Jim Hogan's lessons on calendaring during torts, Gary Goodpaster teaching us that civil procedure is 90 percent of litigation success, Daniel Dykstra jiggling the coins in his pocket (look for deep pockets), Fritz Juenger giving me the choice of law keys to success in my first federal lawsuit, John Poulos telling us in Con Law how to get a TRO to protect the free speech of our clients – it's long list of lessons learned that continued to guide me through 35 years of practice.

Long after she left King Hall, I cited an article by Jean Love in one of my last appellate cases and enjoyed an exchange of e-mails reminiscing about the Class of 1977.
