UC Davis School of Law held its Second Annual Taco Tailgate on Saturday, Oct. 12 at the UC Davis football game against Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.  More than 120 students, faculty, staff, and friends joined for pre-game cheer and delicious tacos from Las Brasas, a Woodland restaurant.

We had a great group of people in attendance, including alums Steve Boutin `72, Bill Mantle `74, Floyd Shimomura `73 (who was raving about the wealth transfer symposium at the law school on the day before), Associate Dean for International Programs Beth Greenwood `91, Professor Karrigan Bork, and many more.

Onell Berrios planned the event and announced the raffle winners.  I was honorary captain for the Aggies and was able to walk out on the field for the coin flip.  Professor Jasmine Harris' son, Lincoln, and her husband Grant accompanied me on the field.

The law school had a block of seats to enjoy the game.  And the home team did not disappoint, with the Aggies winning by a 48-24 margin, after charging out to a 31-0 lead.   The UC Davis School of Law community had great fun on another picture perfect day.
