3.4 F Grade

  1. F is a failing grade. Students who receive an F in a course do not earn any credits for that course.
  2. Students who receive an F in an elective course may repeat the course with the dean's permission. Students who receive an F in a required course must repeat the course. Both the F grade and the grade received upon repeating the course will be used to compute the cumulative grade point average except for courses repeated under Article IV.
