King Hall Legal Foundation gives out awards, kicks off virtual auction

The King Hall Legal Foundation honored Dean Kevin R. Johnson, Professor Elizabeth Joh and other staff and faculty members and kicked off its 10-day virtual auction during a Feb. 19 online event. 

KHLF’s board of directors offered certificates of appreciation to Johnson, Professor Emeritus Alan Brownstein, Professor Clay Tanaka, Senior Assistant Dean for Student Affairs Emily Scivoletto, Mark Hoffman (from the King Hall IT department) and Joh, who was named "Pandemic Professor of the Year."

The awards ceremony also marked the start of KHLF’s virtual auction. The auction is live now and runs through Feb. 28. 

The King Hall Legal Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing equal access for underserved populations in the American legal system. The foundation funds public interest and public service projects proposed and executed by King Hall students. 

The current KHLF board, composed of students, is chaired by Camille Halley ’22, Courtney Schwyzer ’22 and Corina Yetter ’22.
