Professor Larson releases new book, On Treason: A Citizen's Guide to the Law
Professor Carlton F.W. Larson’s new book, On Treason: A Citizen’s Guide to the Law was published by Ecco/HarperCollins on Sept. 29.
In its review, Publishers Weekly called On Treason “a lucid analysis of the U.S. Constitution’s treason clause and its implications for today’s partisan politics.”
On Oct. 2, Larson appeared on "Joan Esposito: Live Local & Progressive" on WCPT 820 (Chicago) to talk about the book. He also wrote an essay for Zócalo Public Square.
Larson’s 2019 book The Trials of Allegiance: Treason, Juries, and the American Revolution (Oxford University Press) was a finalist for an ABA Silver Gavel Award earlier this year.
Carlton Larson's research interests focus on constitutional law and legal history. He is one of the nation’s leading authorities on the law of treason.
