The Verge quotes Professor Joh about Ring 'traffic stop counter-surveillance' tool

Professor Elizabeth Joh spoke to The Verge about Ring Car Cam’s new Traffic Stop feature, which records activities within and in front of a driver’s car and can be activated when the driver says, “Alexa, I am being pulled over.”

Professor Joh's scholarship focuses on criminal procedure and policing, with a special emphasis on DNA evidence, undercover policing, and new surveillance technologies. She is the recipient of King Hall’s 2017 Distinguished Teaching Award.
