KQED reporter Farida Jhabvala Romero interviewed Dean Kevin R. Johnson for a July 9 report about Bay Area teenager Crista Ramos. She is the lead plaintiff in a class-action lawsuit that aims to stop the Trump administration from ending the Temporary Protected Status program. The program has prevented the deportation of Ramos’ mother.
