Senior Associate Dean Afsharipour speaks at National Business Law Scholars Conference

Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Afra Afsharipour presented two projects at the National Business Law Scholars Conference, hosted virtually June 18-19 by the University of Tennessee College of Law.

Afsharipour presented “Bias, Identity & M&A” (Wisconsin Law Review, 2020) and “Corporate Purpose’s Missing Comparative Lens.”

Afsharipour also served on the planning committee for the event.

Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Professor Afra Afsharipour’s areas of research include comparative corporate law and governance, mergers and acquisitions, and transactional law.  Her scholarship has appeared in numerous law reviews, including the Columbia Law Review, the Minnesota Law Review, the Vanderbilt Law Review, and the UC Davis Law Review
