In virtual COVID-19 town hall, Professor Joh discusses state, federal responses

On May 29, Professor Elizabeth Joh addressed students as part of the UC Davis College of Biological Sciences' virtual COVID-19 Town Hall series. She addressed the constitutional law issues raised by federal and state responses to the pandemic.

Professor Joh’s talk wrapped up the seven-week series. Professor Lisa Ikemoto was the featured speaker in the series’ May 8 installment.

Professor Joh's scholarship focuses on criminal procedure and policing, with a special emphasis on DNA evidence, undercover policing, and new surveillance technologies. She is the recipient of King Hall’s 2017 Distinguished Teaching Award.
