Professor Shestowsky participates in 'Appreciating Our Legacy' conference at Pepperdine

Professor Donna Shestowsky discussed research, teaching and scholarship at “Appreciating our Legacy and Engaging the Future,” an international conference for dispute resolution for teachers, scholars and leaders held last week at Pepperdine School of Law.

Shestowsky took part in the plenary discussion “Engaging in the Real World: Classroom Teaching and Scholarship,” and the breakout session “Research and Scholarship with a Real World Focus – Methodologies and Terminology.”

Donna Shestowsky, who has both a law degree and a Ph.D. in psychology, is director of the Lawyering Skills Education Program, a professor of law and a Martin Luther King, Jr., Research Scholar at UC Davis School of Law, where she teaches Criminal Law, Negotiation Strategy, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and a seminar in Legal Psychology. She was the 2007 recipient of the Law School's Distinguished Teaching Award.
