Professor Pannu moderates panel at Clean Water Forum

Professor Camille Pannu participated in the Clean Water Forum on Dec. 6 in Fresno. Pannu, director of the Water Justice Clinic, was a moderator for a panel, "Existing & Developing Legal Theories."

The stated mission of the Clean Water Forum was to "bring together practitioners and experts from a variety of backgrounds to engage in strategic conversations regarding the state of water litigation, with a particular focus on work that can affect communities in California's Central Valley."

Pannu directs the Water Justice Clinic, a project of the Aoki Center for Critical Race and Nation Studies. The Water Justice Clinic partners with stakeholders to improve the sustainability of rural water systems; advocate for the inclusion of rural and low-income communities in water management decisions; and ensure that all Californians have access to safe, clean and affordable drinking water.
