UC Immigrant Legal Services Center Executive Director Blanco welcomes new fellow

As part of the Butler Koshland Fellowship program, María Blanco, executive director of the UC Immigrant Legal Services Center, will serve as a mentor to the newly announced immigrant rights fellow. Anna Manuel will work with Blanco to provide direct legal services to undocumented students. She will also be a liaison to partner organization California Campus Catalyst Fund, which has a mission to expand support for undocumented students and their families across the state’s three public higher education systems: California community colleges, California State University, and University of California.

“I am thrilled that Anna will be joining the UC Center for Immigrant Legal Services as a Butler Koshland Fellow,” Blanco said as part of an  announcement of Manuel's new role. “One of my greatest pleasures over the years has been, and continues to be, the mentoring of talented advocates who represent the future of the movement for social justice.”
