Presentation at Capitol highlights Aoki Water Justice Clinic

The Aoki Water Justice Clinic was featured in a May 3 presentation to the California Legislature on “The Struggle for Water Justice: Disadvantaged Unincorporated Communities in California's San Joaquin Valley.”

The presentation by Jonathan London, Director of the UC Davis Center for Regional Change, included findings from his recent study on water inequality in the region, identified solutions and highlighted the Water Justice Clinic’s work with low-income San Joaquin Valley communities.

The Aoki Water Justice Clinic partners with stakeholders to improve the sustainability of rural water systems; advocate for the inclusion of rural and low-income communities in water-management decisions; and ensure all Californians have access to safe, clean and affordable drinking water.
