Professor Chin Comments for Los Angeles Times on Suge Knight Case
Professor Gabriel “Jack” Chin commented for the Los Angeles Times on the case of Marion “Suge” Knight, the hip-hop music mogul who has been charged with murder in connection with a fatal hit-and-run. Two of Knight’s defense attorneys were recently arrested amid claims that Knight’s legal team has engaged in witness tampering, bribery, and violations of court orders. The attorneys were released without being charged, leading some to question why detectives arrested them without consulting the district attorney as to whether charges would be filed.
"I'd be inclined to bet that they didn't think this was a case the district attorney's office was going to love," said Chin.
