Professor Angela Harris Joins Journal of Law and Political Economy Blog

Professor Emeritus Angela Harris has joined the Journal of Law and Political Economy blog as a contributing author. The publication has its roots in a seminar on Law and Political Economy held at Yale Law School in Spring 2017. The blog seeks to engage legal scholars and policymakers in mapping the ways in which law concentrates economic and political power. Professor Harris’s entries are available here.

Angela Harris is a Professor Emeritus at UC Davis School of Law, where she was the Boochever and Bird Endowed Chair for the Study and Teaching of Freedom of Equality, as well as Director of the Aoki Center for Critical Race and Nation Studies. One of the nation's foremost scholars in the fields of critical race theory, feminist legal theory, and civil rights, she joined the UC Davis faculty from UC Berkeley School of Law in 2011.
