Professor Afsharipour Presents at UCLA Corporate and Securities Litigation Conference
Professor Afra Afsharipour was selected to participate in the Fifth Annual Corporate and Securities Litigation Workshop at UCLA School of Law held October 20-21. She presented a paper entitled “Holding Bidder Boards Accountable.” The paper is co-authored with Vice-Chancellor J. Travis Laster of the Delaware Court of Chancery.
Professor Afsharipour’s areas of research include comparative corporate law and governance, mergers and acquisitions, and transactional law. Her scholarship has appeared in numerous law reviews, including the Columbia Law Review, the Minnesota Law Review, the Vanderbilt Law Review, and the UC Davis Law Review.
