Professor Chander Presents at Columbia University Seminar

Professor Anupam Chander presented a talk on “The Internet of Things Meets International Trade Law” at a Columbia University seminar on October 9. The seminar was led by Columbia School of International and Public Affairs Dean Merit Janow and Columbia Law School Professor Petros Mavroidis. Professor Chander’s accompanying paper situates the Internet of Things within the international trade law framework.

Professor Chander, Martin Luther King, Jr. Professor of Law at UC Davis School of Law, is a leading scholar of international economic law and cyberlaw. He is the author of The Electronic Silk Road: How the Web Binds the World in Commerce, published in 2013 by Yale University Press.
