Dean Johnson Comments for KXTV on DACA and Unaccompanied Minor Immigrants
Dean Kevin R. Johnson commented for Sacramento ABC affiliate television station KXTV on President Trump’s assertion that the Obama administration’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program spurred a recent surge of unaccompanied minors emigrating from Central America.
“There is no evidence supporting that theory,” Johnson said. “Rather, the research shows that Central Americans were fleeing widespread criminal violence.”
