Professor Frank Comments for Los Angeles Times on California Coastal Commission Budget
Professor of Environmental Practice Richard Frank ’74 commented for the Los Angeles Times on budget concerns facing the California Coastal Commission. The agency has been underfunded for decades, Frank said.
“Most of the time the agency has been put on a starvation diet,” said Frank. “The result is perpetual bureaucratic triage.”
Frank is a leader in the field of environmental law and the founding Director of the California Environmental Law and Policy Center at UC Davis School of Law.
