Professor Frank Speaks at California Bar Real Property Section Conference
On April 21st, Professor of Environmental Practice Richard Frank ’74 spoke to the annual conference of the California State Bar's Real Property Section in Napa, California. The topic of Professor Frank's presentation was, "Property Rights in the 21st Century: Are the U.S. Supreme Court and California Supreme Court on a Collision Course?" His presentation focused on recently decided and currently pending "regulatory takings" decisions in both high courts, and their distinct approaches to and philosophies concerning constitutionally-protected property rights litigation.
Frank is a leader in the field of environmental law and the founding Director of the California Environmental Law and Policy Center at UC Davis School of Law.
