Professor White Interviewed by Roya Ladan ’12 for Gideon
An interview with Professor Carter White, Supervising Attorney of the UC Davis School of Law Civil Rights Clinic, is featured in the Spring 2017 edition of the Gideon, the Pro Se Litigation Committee Newsletter of the Office of the Circuit Executive for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Professor White was interviewed for the article, “Mediation: A Tool for Effectively Handling Prisoner Civil Rights Cases,” by Roya Ladan ’12, a law clerk to United States Magistrate Judge Gail Standish in Los Angeles. As a student in the Civil Rights Clinic, Ladan successfully represented a prisoner in Akhtar v. Mesa, 698 F.3d 1202 (9th Cir. 2012).
