Professor Chin Lectures on Immigration at Carroll College Constitutional Studies Center

Professor Gabriel “Jack” Chin was in residence at Carroll College in Helena, Montana over spring break, lecturing in the college's Constitutional Studies Center on "President Trump's Immigration Policies and the Limits of the Constitution."  

He also led a student-faculty research seminar, where the group discussed his paper “The War against Chinese Restaurants,” co-authored with John Ormonde '15, which is forthcoming in the Duke Law Journal.  Professor Chin also presented that paper at the University of Virginia School of Law earlier in March.

Gabriel "Jack" Chin is Martin Luther King, Jr. Professor of Law and holder of the Edward L. Barrett Endowed Chair at UC Davis School of Law. He is a prolific and much-cited criminal and immigration law scholar whose work has addressed many of the most pressing social issues of our time.
