Professor Joo Comments on Border Wall Project for San Francisco Chronicle
Professor Thomas Joo commented for the San Francisco Chronicle on a proposal that would bar the City of San Francisco from contracting with companies that are seeking to work on President Trump’s proposed wall across the Mexican border.
Professor Joo said that involvement in the project includes some risk for contractors, given its uncertain financing.
“There is a lot of risk involved in committing any resources to this project, as it’s still in jeopardy,” said Joo. “They are supposed to have Mexico pay for it — but there’s no chance of that.”
Joo, Martin Luther King, Jr. Professor at UC Davis School of Law, specializes in the areas of corporate governance and race and the law.
