Professor Frank Speaks on California Water Law at McGeorge School of Law

On March 11, Professor of Environmental Practice Richard Frank ’74 spoke at a conference at the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento titled “The State Water Resources Control Board Turns 50: Integrating Water Quality & Quantity in the Golden State.”  Frank’s presentation focused on California groundwater law, implementation of the state’s landmark 2014 Sustainable Groundwater Management Act, and the State Water Board’s powers and duties in managing California’s groundwater resources.

Frank is a leader in the field of environmental law and the founding Director of the California Environmental Law and Policy Center at UC Davis School of Law.
