Professor Chin Speaks at Federal Bar Council’s Winter Bench and Bar Conference

Professor Gabriel “Jack” Chin was on a panel on collateral consequences of criminal conviction at the Federal Bar Council’s Winter Bench and Bar Conference in Palm Springs.   Chaired by U.S. District Judge Stefan Underhill, the other panelists were NYU Professor James Jacobs and Professor Ingrid Eagly of UCLA.  Professor Chin’s scholarship on collateral consequences has been cited in three U.S. Supreme Court cases.

Gabriel "Jack" Chin is Martin Luther King, Jr. Professor of Law and holder of the Edward L. Barrett Endowed Chair at UC Davis School of Law. He is a prolific and much-cited criminal and immigration law scholar whose work has addressed many of the most pressing social issues of our time.
