Professor Shestowsky Speaks at Global Pound Conference
Professor Donna Shestowsky was an invited speaker at the Global Pound Conference held in San Francisco on February 24. The highly interactive conference was part of a series of similar events being held around the world to collect data and observations from leading alternative dispute resolution experts and explore ways of improving access to justice through ADR. Professor Shestowsky participated in a panel titled “Promoting Better Access to Justice: What Action Items Should be Considered a?nd by Whom?”
Donna Shestowsky, who has both a law degree and a PhD in Psychology, is a Professor of Law and Martin Luther King, Jr. Research Scholar at UC Davis School of Law, where she teaches Criminal Law, Negotiation Strategy, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and a seminar in Legal Psychology. She was the 2007 recipient of the Law School's Distinguished Teaching Award.
