Professor Lee Presents Paper at the University of Texas School of Law
Professor Peter Lee recently presented a paper at the Patent Damages 2 Conference at the University of Texas School of Law in Austin. Professor Lee’s paper, entitled “Distinguishing Damages Paid from Compensation Received: A Thought Experiment” offers a proposal to reform patent infringement damages in the light of the various and sometimes conflicting normative aims of this body of law. Professor Robert Bone of the University of Texas School of Law offered commentary on Professor Lee’s paper.
Professor Lee's scholarly work addresses the intersection of science and society, particularly exploring the patent system's impact on scientific and technological progress.
