Professor Frank Presents at Planning & Conservation League Symposium

On February 18, Professor of Environmental Practice Richard Frank ’74 gave a luncheon presentation to the California Planning & Conservation League’s annual symposium, held this year in Sacramento.  Professor Frank’s topics included the Trump Administration’s likely future efforts to scale back environmental and natural resource protections and regulatory programs under federal law; what the State of California can do prospectively to “fill the gaps” that would be created by any such federal retrenchment; and legal and policy strategies that California’s environmental organizations might consider in these circumstances.

Frank is a leader in the field of environmental law and the founding Director of the California Environmental Law and Policy Center at UC Davis School of Law.
