Professor Frank Comments for Los Angeles Times on Trump EPA Pick
Professor of Environmental Practice Richard Frank ’74 commented for the Los Angeles Times on Scott Pruitt, who was chosen by President Trump to lead the Environmental Protection Agency. Pruitt is expected to oppose California’s attempts to force auto makers to comply with tough clear air standards the state has imposed as part of its campaign to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
“It could certainly impede California’s efforts,” said Frank.
Frank is a leader in the field of environmental law and the founding Director of the California Environmental Law and Policy Center at UC Davis School of Law.
