Dean Johnson Publishes Essay on Immigration Detention in The Conversation
Dean Kevin R. Johnson published an article in The Conversation on the use of detention in immigration enforcement. The article traces the history of detention policies, as well as the legal challenges that have followed increased use of detention.
“Detention appears as if will be an important part of Trump’s immigration enforcement plan,” Johnson writes. “As historically has been the case, legal challenges will almost certainly follow.”
