Sara Ehsani-Nia ’18 Interviewed on Capital Public Radio

Sara Ehsani-Nia ’18 was interviewed on the Capital Public Radio news program Insight with Beth Ruyak regarding the actions of UC Davis School of Law students, faculty, and alumni in response to President Trump’s executive orders on immigration. She was also interviewed by CBS Sacramento and the Sacramento Bee regarding Trump's ban.

Ehsani-Nia talked about her role as part of a King Hall contingent that traveled to the San Francisco airport to aid individuals detained under the executive order, the role of the UC Davis Immigration Law Clinic in serving immigrant communities, and her work with Immigration Clinic clients, including unaccompanied minors.

“Unaccompanied minors are particularly vulnerable right now because Trump has made them a priority for deportation,” she said. “They are our most vulnerable population of immigrants.”
