King Hall Forum on Trump Administration Draws Media Coverage

A UC Davis School of Law “town hall” discussion of “The Trump Administration: What It May Mean for Civil Rights and Social Justice” drew a standing room-only audience to the Kalmanovitz Appellate Courtroom on November 22 and brought coverage from the Davis Enterprise.

The event featured a panel including included four King Hall faculty members—Professors Courtney Joslin, Brian Soucek, Lisa Ikemoto, and Albert Lin—as well as recent graduate Amy Barnett ’15, a legal fellow at the UC Undocumented Services Center.  Professor Joslin spoke about LGBT equality issues; Professor Soucek talked about the First Amendment; Professor Ikemoto spoke about the future of the Affordable Care Act and reproductive rights; Professor Lin gave a brief overview of environmental issues; and Amy Barnett talked about immigrants’ rights, including those of undocumented students.
